Yesterday in Penn Station, I met Jonathan, whose one tattoo caught my eye when I passed him in the Amtrak waiting area.

Except, sometimes, a fragment of a tattoo doesn't necessarily reveal the whole piece. As in Jonathan's case, I saw the back of his arm, and this segment, which resembled (to me, at the time), a crude figure with the beginning of a speech bubble emanating from its mouth:

I felt rather silly, however, when Jonathan agreed to participate and showed me the full tattoo:

The figure I imagined, of course, is really Long Island, and the balloon was the southern tip of the state of New York.

Jonathan explained that he is from Rochester, marked on the tattoo with a star, and that he lived in the same house growing up there for eighteen years. It's a New York state of mind, indeed.

The tattoo was done at Big Joe & Sons Tattooing in White Plains, New York.

Glenn Danzig Tattoos

Glenn Danzig is a great American singer songwriter and musician, best known as the founding member of the iconic horror punk rock band the Misfits.

Glenn Danzig has multiple tattoos on his body, including a large piece on his left arm which has the words "Wolfs Blood" along with a wolf head, along with a bat donning the head of the misfits skull logo, plus several skulls and a dark angel.

He also has the "Devilman symbols" tattooed on his lower back.

Tony Danza Tattoo

Tony Danza is a marvelous iconic American actor known for his role on the television show Taxi and Who's the Boss?.

Tony Danza has a single tattoo design which we know about, located on his right bicep and reads "Keep on Truckin" along with an unknown design in the middle.

Carson Daly Tattoos

Carson Daly is a popular American television host, best known as the host Last Call with Carson Daly and MTV's TRL.

Carson Daly has several tattoos on his body, including a crucifix along with the dual flag Corvette emblem, plus his fathers initials "J D" located on his right forearm.

His other tattoos include, the letters "NYC" on his inner right wrist, the United States Army Special Forces motto and logo "De oppresso liber" on his left arm, plus an unknown tattoo design on his right leg.

Victoria Beckham Tattoos

Lets have a look at the fabulous and very meaningful tattoos of English singer, dancer, model, designer and author, Victoria Beckham, perhaps best known for being Posh Spice, of the Spice Girls group.

Victoria has five bright shining stars on her lower back which represent her, David and their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

She has a Hebrew tattoo of a quote from the Song of Solomon 6:3 "I am my love’s and my love is mine, who browses among the lilies." which runs from the neck down her back.

Victoria also has the date (May 8th 1997) in roman numerals tattooed on her wrist, and is said to be the date her and husband David Beckham first made love with one another.

Just below that tattoo, appears to be the phrase "De Integra, De Enegra or De Intopa".

DB (David Beckham) is tattooed on the inner portion of her left wrist, to go along with another Hebrew script tattoo, which read "together forever, eternally".
